Join Our Team as a General Warehouse Operative!

Are you looking for an opportunity in a vibrant and dynamic environment? We are currently seeking a motivated General Warehouse Operative to join our team at Heathrow Airport. If you have experience with electric pallet trucks and are ready to take on a rewarding role, we want to hear from you!

About the Role:

As a General Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring the efficient sortation of archive boxes. Your responsibilities will include:

Scanning current box labels with our innovative tool to determine whether boxes should be archived or shredded.

Applying Iron Mountain barcodes to boxes designated for archiving and preparing them for palletisation.

Collecting and setting aside boxes for shredding until we accumulate a total of 500, at which point they will be sent to ShredIt for secure disposal.

Moving pallets from the 2nd floor to the ground floor loading bay for collection by Iron Mountain or loading for shredding.

What We're Looking For:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

Experience operating electric pallet trucks (a valid licence is required).

A keen eye for detail and the ability to follow instructions meticulously.

Strong organisational skills to manage the flow of boxes efficiently.

A positive attitude and team spirit!

Working Pattern:

Hours: 20 hours per week

Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday

Time: 10 AM - 4 PM (1-hour lunch break)

Pay rate: £15.50- £17.50 dependant on experience
