Job Title: General Operative

Location: Rochdale

Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour.

Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:15 AM – 4:00 PM & Friday: 7:15 AM – 1:40 PM

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for a general operative on behalf of our client in Rochdale. This is an excellent opportunity to join a clean, friendly, and professional working environment with long-term prospects. The role is offered on an ongoing temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

Operating light machinery (training provided)

General shop floor and manual handling duties

Assisting with site labouring tasks (no CSCS card required)

Preparing materials for production

Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the work area

Supporting team members with day-to-day tasks

Candidate Requirements:

Previous experience in a timber yard or as a joiner is highly desirable

Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Up-to-date CV
