Location: Leiston

Hours: Full–time (40 hours per week)

Mon – Thurs 07:30am – 5pm Fri 07:00am – 2pm

Term: Temp To Perm

Salary: GBP14.21 P/H

Hales Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and safety conscious Forklift Driver to join their busy team based in Leiston. This hands on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast paced yard and warehouse environment, supporting the movement, loading, and organisation of materials across the site.

Key Responsibilities

Operating a counterbalance forklift to safely move, load, and unload materials Supporting daily yard and warehouse operations, including stock movement and organisation Assisting with goods in and goods out processes Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch Maintaining accurate stock locations and reporting discrepancies Ensuring the yard and warehouse remain clean, tidy, and compliant with safety standards Following all company health & safety procedures Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily operational targets

What We re Looking For

Valid counterbalance forklift licence (in date) C1 Licence Previous experience in a warehouse, yard, or industrial environment Confident operating a forklift in busy or confined spaces Strong awareness of safety procedures and manual handling practices Good communication skills and a positive, team focused attitude Ability to carry out manual handling tasks Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when required
