Food Production Operative

Great opportunity to work as a Production Operative for our client, which produces Yorkshire Puddings for its customer portfolio in food retail.

Full time, ongoing, regular role, part time positions are also available.

We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team in a fast-paced food production environment. You'll need good communication and basic numeracy skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude towards health & safety and GMP.

Staffline is recruiting Production Operatives in Thorne.

The rates of pay are:

- AM Shift £12.71 per hour

- PM Shift £12.87 per hour

- Night Shift £13.02 per hour

This is a full-time role working fixed shifts. The hours of work are:

- 5:45am to 1:45pm (Monday - Friday)

- 1:45pm to 9:45pm (Monday - Friday)

- 9:45pm to 5:45am (Sunday - Thursday)

Opportunities to progress into skilled roles with increased pay rates of up to £13.23 per hour.

Your Time at Work

As a Production Operative you will be responsible for working on a food production line, ensuring that products are placed in trays and packed at the end of the line.

This position will involve some manual handling duties, lifting and working in a chilled environment.

Induction next week and potential to start the next day.

The role involves working both independently and as part of a team, with flexibility required across rotating positions, including oven and chiller areas

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker is reliable and punctual, able to work in a food production environment, working as part of a team. You must have good spoken English to be considered for this role.

Applicants must be physically fit, as the role includes manual handling and lifting up to 25kg, as well as pushing racks and being on their feet for long periods.

No previous experience is necessary as full training is provided.
