Mon–Thurs / Tues–Fri (4 day working week )

My client is looking for a Factory Operative to join their team in a varied role. You will be operative a range of machinery, carrying out hands–on work, and operating forklifts! To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will have previous experience in a factory environment, carrying out a range of hands–on tasks. Having experience operating forklifts will also be highly beneficial!

Duties include:

Carrying out manual handling tasks using a variety of hand and power tools Operating forklifts Some mechanical assembly will be involved Working across different departments in the factory Following some technical instructions and plans Any other duties required

The successful candidate will have / be:

Previous experience within a factory environment Experience operating a forklift not essential but highly advantageous Basic numeracy and literacy skills A can–do attitude Physically fit in order to stand for long periods of time and occasionally have to walk up and down flights of stairs within the factory A solid CV demonstrating reliability and longevity in previous roles
