Factory Operative – 12.21 per hour – Temp to Perm – Outskirts of Maldon/Burnham–on–Crouch

We are currently recruiting for a Factory Operative to join a food production company based in the Essex countryside, between Burnham–on–Crouch and Maldon. This is a temporary–to–permanent opportunity offering long–term career progression, pay increases, and full training.

A counterbalance forklift ticket would be a distinct advantage

Due to the rural location, own transport is essential.

Role Overview:

As a Factory Operative, you'll be working across various stages of production and goods–in, with training provided to support your development. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience in manufacturing or food production, who is looking to grow within a stable and supportive environment.

Key Duties:

Operating production line equipmentCarrying out quality control checks and completing relevant documentationSupporting various departments across production and warehouseMaintaining a clean and safe working environmentAssisting with general housekeeping dutiesIdeal Candidate:

Previous experience in manufacturing and production, or food processingMust have own transportA counterbalance forklift ticket would be a distinct advantageConfident working as part of a team and independentlyComfortable using basic paperwork and computer systemsLooking for a long–term, permanent opportunityWilling to learn and take on additional training, including forklift certificationWorking Hours & Pay:

Monday to Friday – 7:00am to 3:30pm 12.21 per hour (increasing to 13+ after 12 weeks)Overtime available (paid at time and a half)Additional Benefits (upon going permanent):
