An excellent temporary-to-permanent opportunity awaits a dedicated Production Operative/Team Leader in an Ipswich food production facility. Join a small, experienced team where you'll play a crucial role in leading operations, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Production Operative/ Team Leader Duties:

Lead a small team with effective communication to maintain high standards of efficiency, quality, and productivity

Support the training and development of team members

Communicate effectively across all departments within the business

Assist in the preparation and assembly of food products following established recipes and specifications

Ensure strict compliance with food safety standards, including HACCP guidelines

Conduct regular checks on equipment, reporting any mechanical issuesPay & Hours:

From £13-£14 per hour

Monday to Friday (primarily Monday-Thursday production, with some Fridays required)Benefits:

Confidence in communicating effectively within a team

Essential basic maths skills for accurate measurements and inventory

Knowledge of food safety practices, including HACCP, is highly desirable

Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting equipment

Mandatory previous experience in food production or a similar environment
