Description

Apex Resources Ltd urgently require several general factory operators/trainee machine operators for their prestigious manufacturing client in Port Glasgow, Inverclyde. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting production processes, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with an interest in manufacturing and hands–on work within a dynamic factory setting.

Duties

Operate various mechanical and manual machines to assist in assembly and production tasks Assist with the assembly of components according to specifications and quality standards Conduct routine inspections of products during the manufacturing process Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area to ensure safety and efficiency Follow health and safety procedures at all times to minimise risks within the factory environment Previous factory or manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided Mechanical knowledge or experience working with machines is advantageous Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Good organisational skills with attention to detail Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks Basic literacy and numeracy skills for following instructions and recording data Hours of work:

Monday to Thursday 7:15am–5.30pm

This role is suitable for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills within a manufacturing environment. Applicants should demonstrate a proactive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.This position will be starting on Monday and so immediate availability is critical.

Please note that all applicants must be able to provide full right to work documentation, evidence of a national insurance number from an official letter from HMRC and have an active bank account in their own name for processing wages.
