Description

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. working Monday to Friday 07.45 – 16.45 . The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high–quality wooden products, from cutting and shaping materials to assembling and finishing bespoke items. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Using a variety of hand tools such as Routers, Sanders/ Polishers. Use Panel Saw to accurately cut materials. Heat, Form and Glue edging strips to panels. Sand and polish finished panels. Good eye for detail Quality conscious Well organised Can work with minimal supervision (after training) Read and interpret technical drawings, sketches, and specifications to determine fabrication requirements. Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised fabrication equipment safely and efficiently. Perform basic measurements and calculations to ensure accurate fabrication dimensions using basic math skills. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist in the assembly of fabricated components into finished products or structures. Conduct quality checks on finished parts to ensure they meet specified standards. Experience.

Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication processes. Mechanical knowledge related to, assembly, and basic maintenance of fabrication equipment. Ability to read technical drawings and perform basic math calculations relevant to fabrication tasks. Prior experience working with , mechanical assembly, or related fields is preferred but not essential for entry–level candidates willing to learn. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to refine their skills in fabrication within a professional environment that values precision, safety, and craftsmanship.
