Description
We are currently seeking an experienced fabricator or welder (or Fabricator/Welder) for a minimum 2-month contract based in Pembroke.
Marine experience would be ideal, although candidates from other engineering and industrial backgrounds will also be considered. Reliability, commitment, and the ability to consistently produce high-quality work to project deadlines are essential.
Fabricator Requirements
Proven fabrication and fitting experience
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience assembling and modifying steel structures and components
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Ability to work independently and within a team
Welder Requirements
Proven MIG welding experience
Ability to weld from engineering drawings and specifications
Consistently high standard of workmanship
Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
Ability to work independently and within a team
Preferred Experience
Marine or vessel-related experience
Heavy engineering, industrial manufacturing or similar environments
Relevant fabrication or welding qualifications
Duties
Fabrication, assembly and modification of structures and components
MIG welding where required
Working from engineering drawings and specifications
Maintaining high standards of quality and safety
Supporting project delivery to meet key deadlines
Rate/Hours
Minimum 2-month contract
Average 50 hours per week
£26.00 per hour, all hours paid
