Overview
A respected building services contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee major electrical packages on large-scale commercial refurbishment and re-installation projects valued at £35m+. You’ll be responsible for driving delivery, managing subcontractors, ensuring technical quality, and keeping the project aligned with program, budget, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the full electrical scope on major commercial refurbishment projects
Manage project programs, cost tracking, reporting, and risk management
Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
Oversee site teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality installation
Review drawings, specifications, technical submissions, and QA documentation
Ensure compliance with all electrical and building services regulations
Handle procurement, variations, and project handover documents
Troubleshoot electrical issues and maintain progress against milestones

Requirements
Proven experience managing electrical building services projects
Strong background delivering electrical packages on large commercial schemes
Ability to manage £multi-million works with multiple stakeholders
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
SMSTS, CSCS, and relevant electrical qualifications preferred
Available to start immediately or in January
