Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 DOE

Hours: 44 hours per week

Start Time: 06:30 – 07:30

Location: Birmingham

Contract: Full-time | Permanent

The Role

This is not a desk-only CAD role. You’ll be involved from first drawing to finished product, working closely with the Works Manager and shop floor to turn architectural concepts into build-ready solutions.

What you’ll be doing:

Producing high-quality 2D & 3D drawings (AutoCAD / Inventor)

Interpreting architectural drawings and 3D visuals

Designing with manufacture at the forefront

Issuing approved drawings directly to production

Supporting multiple bespoke projects end-to-end

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a CAD / setting out role

Experience designing for manufacture

Knowledge of joinery and/or metalwork

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes

Ability to translate architectural drawings into production-ready documents

Desirable:

AutoCAD / Inventor experience

Joinery background

Proactive, can-do attitude

Comfortable working to deadlines
