Demand Planner and Buyer

Description

This role sits within a Supply Chain environment supporting safety–critical products used across global infrastructure markets. The position focuses on demand planning, forecasting and supplier management, ensuring product availability through accurate analysis, robust inventory control and strong collaboration between sales, operations and suppliers across international supply chains.

Key Responsibilities

Lead demand planning and forecasting for finished goods using historical data and forecasting toolsManage inventory levels, stock policies and replenishment strategies to balance availability and efficiencyAct as a key link between Sales, Operations and Supply Chain to align forecasts and supply plansManage supplier performance, OTIF metrics, NCRs and cost reduction initiativesSupport S&OP processes through analysis, reporting and presentationsRequirements:

Proven experience in demand planning / inventory planningPurchasing experienceDegree qualified or equivalentStrong experience with ERP/MRP systemsLocation: Rossendale

Salary: 35k (dependent on experience)

Permanent – Full time – Mon–Fri
