Job Title: Customer Service & Workshop Operations Coordinator

Location: Kettering

Salary: £30,000 per annum

Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a highly organised and proactive Customer Service & Workshop Operations Coordinator to join a busy and fast-paced environment. This role is key to ensuring smooth day-to-day workshop operations while acting as a central point of contact between customers, engineers, and the wider service team.

You will be responsible for coordinating workshop activities, managing service jobs from enquiry through to completion, and supporting customers with technical queries. As you develop within the role, you will gain increased responsibility in diagnosing issues, handling breakdown calls, and ensuring engineers are fully prepared for each job.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate daily workshop operations, including scheduling, allocation, and prioritisation of jobs

*

Act as a main point of contact for customer enquiries, providing a professional and timely service

*

Manage service and repair jobs from initial booking through to completion

*

Liaise with workshop engineers to ensure efficient workflow and resource planning

*

Provide technical support to customers, including assisting with basic fault diagnosis

*

Maintain accurate records using internal systems and databases

*

Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance customer service

*

Support a positive and collaborative team environment

Requirements

*

Previous experience in a customer service, service coordination, or technical support role

*

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks

*

Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills

*

IT literate, with experience xjnqpsq using systems and databases

*

Proactive and solutions-focused approach

*

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

Technical knowledge within machinery, engineering, or similar environments
