Counterbalance and Reach driver

Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate reach and counterbalance forklift trucks safely and efficiently

Load, unload, move, and stack goods in designated warehouse areas

Pick and put away stock using racking systems

Ensure stock is handled carefully to prevent damage

Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects

Assist with stock control and inventory checks as required

Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment

Follow all company procedures, health and safety, and site rules

Support other warehouse duties when required (e.g. picking, packing)

Skills and Experience

Valid and in–date Reach and Counterbalance forklift licences

Proven experience operating both trucks in a warehouse environment

Good understanding of warehouse operations

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good time management and organisational skills
