Cnc Programmer Setter Operator

Description

My client is a specialist engineering manufacturer in the aerospace and defence sectors and is seeking to strengthen it's maching capability with the addition of an accomplished CNC Programmer Setter, Operator.

As the CNC Programmer,Setter, Operator your key responsibilities will be to ensure all products are mill–turned, handled, and identified in accordance with Working Practices and Procedures and fully comply with customer requirements.

Accurately program, set, and operate machinery to cut materials efficiently, maximising stock utilisation while minimising scrap, waste, and damage to both customer products and company stock.

Maintain accurate and up–to–date records on the computer–based stock control system and all associated supporting documentation as well as actively promote and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency.

You will be an experienced CNC Programmer setter operator with turning knowledge and ideally Fanuc controls, an full appreciation of quality control methodologies, waste management and multi axis cutting.
