Press Brake Operator
GBP17 per hour Monday Thursday Overtime Available Temp–to–Perm
Due to continued growth and client expansion, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a well–established and growing engineering business in Bacup. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a skilled and supportive team.
The Role
You will be responsible for setting and operating AMADA press brake machines, producing high–quality components in line with engineering drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Set and operate press brake machines, ideally Amada but not essentialRead and interpret engineering drawings accuratelyProduce components to tight tolerancesAdjust CNC controls and machine settings as requiredSupport general fabrication activities when needed What We re Looking For
Time–served Press Brake OperatorProven experience with press brakesStrong ability to read and work from technical drawingsBackground in sheet metal fabrication Desirable Skills
Experience with guillotines and general fabrication equipmentMIG welding experienceFLT experience (training can be provided) Working Hours & Pay
GBP17 per hourMonday to Thursday: 6:00am 5:00pm1–hour unpaid break per day40–hour working weekChristmas shutdown Overtime
Overtime available on FridaysPaid at time and a half Benefits
