An established and highly regarded precision engineering manufacturer is seeking an experienced CNC Miller / PowerMill Programmer to join its growing machining team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a CNC Miller / PowerMill Programmer to work on a variety of complex, high–precision components across multiple industry sectors, using advanced CNC machining technology within a modern manufacturing environment.

The Role

As a CNC Miller / PowerMill Programmer, you will be responsible for:

Offline programming using Autodesk PowerMillSetting and operating 3–axis and 5–axis CNC milling machinesProducing complex components to tight tolerancesReading and interpreting engineering drawings and CAD dataSelecting tooling and optimising machining strategiesConducting in–process inspection and quality checksWorking closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver high–quality components

Candidate Requirements

The successful CNC Miller / PowerMill Programmer will have:

Previous experience as a CNC Miller Programmer/OperatorStrong knowledge of PowerMill CAM softwareExperience with 3–axis and 5–axis CNC machiningAbility to program, set and operate CNC milling machines independentlyExperience machining a range of materialsStrong understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances and quality standardsPrototype, tooling, motorsport, aerospace or precision engineering experience would be advantageous

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:00pm

Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm
