CNC Machine Setter

Location: Plymouth

Salary: £33,487.74 per annum (including 20% shift premium)

Shifts: Rotating weekly shifts, 06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22: ______________________________________________________ About the Role

We are recruiting for a CNC Machine Setter to join a well-established precision manufacturing business based in Plymouth. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company known for its commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Working within a structured production environment, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC machinery, carrying out quality checks, and ensuring machinery performs efficiently to support production targets and high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Set and operate CNC machinery to required specifications.

Perform gauge checks and quality inspections throughout production.

Identify and report defects or machine issues promptly.

Ensure correct tooling is fitted and maintained for production runs.

Complete machine performance checklists and follow all safety procedures._______________________________________________________________________

About You

Essential:

2 to 3 year's minimum experience setting and operating CNC machinery.

Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Ability to work a rotating shift pattern.

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety.

Desirable:

Experience carrying out machine performance and quality checks.

Knowledge of precision engineering or CNC manufacturing processes.

Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.
