Location: Haverhill, Suffolk

Pay: 12.71 p/hour + Shift Allowance ( 14.24+ p/hour)

Start Date: Immediate

Contract: Temporary Ongoing (with potential for permanent opportunities)

We are currently recruiting for Assembly Operatives to join a busy manufacturing business in Haverhill due to continued growth. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with assembly or production experience looking to join a clean, modern working environment with full training provided.

This role involves assembling small, high–quality components within a clean room environment. Previous fibre optic assembly experience would be advantageous, but candidates with precision assembly, electronics, or production line experience are encouraged to apply.

Pay & Hours:

12.71 p/hourShift allowance available, increasing pay to 14.24+ p/hourRotating shifts:06:00 – 14:0014:00 – 22:00Part–time late shifts also available, e.g. 16:00 – 22:00Saturday overtime available, 06:00 – 14:00Temporary ongoing position with potential for permanent opportunitiesAssembly Operative Duties:

Assembling fibre optic cables and small precision componentsWorking from technical drawings, assembly instructions and work ordersUsing hand tools and small assembly equipmentCarrying out detailed assembly work with a high level of accuracyInspecting completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are metWorking within a clean room environmentFollowing COSHH, health & safety and quality procedures at all timesSupporting the production team to meet customer deadlinesWhat We're Looking For:

Previous small component assembly or production experienceFibre optic assembly experience would be advantageous but not essentialExperience working on production lines or precision assembly workGood attention to detail and manual dexterityComfortable using hand toolsReliable with a positive attitude and willingness to learnOpen to both experienced and junior candidates with the right attitudeBenefits:
