We're looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our clients Group Finance team in North Manchester.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable or Purchase–to–Pay team leader who enjoys leading people, improving processes and ensuring a high–quality service is delivered across a busy finance operation.

The key responsibilities of an Accounts Payable Supervisor will include:

Lead, motivate and develop a team of five Accounts Payable Associates.Plan and prioritise daily workloads to ensure invoices and queries are processed within agreed SLAs.Oversee the accurate and timely processing of high–volume supplier invoices.Provide expert guidance and act as an escalation point for Accounts Payable activities.Monitor team performance, productivity and quality, addressing issues and driving improvements where required.Ensure compliance with financial controls, Group policies, procedures and audit requirements.Resolve supplier and stakeholder queries efficiently and effectively.Review performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.Champion continuous improvement, streamlining processes and improving efficiency.Develop strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders and wider finance teams.Support the onboarding, training and ongoing development of team members.Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Supervisor will have:

Previous supervisory or team leadership experience within Accounts Payable/P2P.Strong end–to–end AP/P2P knowledge.Experience working in a high–volume finance environment.Strong SAP knowledge.Good Excel and data analysis skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.A proactive, solutions–focused approach with a passion for continuous improvement.Job Offer
