Logistics & Warehouse Manager Salary: GBP45,000 GBP50,000 per annum

Harris Lord Recruitment is working with an established distribution business looking to recruit an experienced and confident Logistics & Warehouse Manager to lead its warehouse operations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong, hands–on leader who has experience working within an environment involving chemicals, hazardous materials or dangerous goods.

Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily running of warehouse and logistics operations.

Lead, motivate and develop the warehouse team, ensuring high standards of performance.

Ensure the safe handling, storage and movement of hazardous and regulated products.

Maintain excellent health and safety standards, including emergency procedures.

Manage staff performance, resolve challenging situations and confidently handle difficult conversations.

Oversee stock control, inventory management and distribution activities.

Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and processes.

What We're Looking For Proven experience managing a busy warehouse or distribution operation.

Previous experience working with chemicals, hazardous materials or dangerous goods is essential.

Strong understanding of safe storage, handling procedures and workplace safety requirements.

Confident leadership skills with experience managing challenging situations and difficult conversations.

Excellent communication, organisation and problem–solving abilities.

Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.

Desirable: Higher–level IOSH qualification, ideally at management/director level, and knowledge of ADR regulations.
