Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Flexible start, Mon–Thurs 9–3, Fri 9–11)

Location: Barrow–in–Furness

Contract: 12–month FTC (Potential for extension based on performance)

This is a salaried, paid internship. This would require you to relocate to the area for the 12–month period if you are not local.

We're seeking Warehouse Interns to join a dynamic team within the Engineering / Manufacturing sector. This is a fantastic chance to gain hands–on experience across multiple departments, supporting Logistics, Goods–In / Out, Supply Chain & Planning teams for a busy manufacturing centre in the heart of Barrow–in–Furness.

Responsibilities:

Support the Logistics & Planning teams with Supply Chain projects & Warehouse activities.Coordinate with shop floor teams to ensure smooth production processes.Work under the guidance of experienced professionals, gaining exposure to a range of engineering disciplines including planning, project management & supply chain.Compile reports, chase deliverables, and maintain project timelines.What You Bring:

A vocational qualification in a relevant subject is advantageous but by no means essential.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently in a fast–paced environment.Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to work closely with both shop floor teams and senior management.A proactive attitude, with the ability to think quickly and adapt to changing project needs.If this sounds like the perfect fit, send us your CV, and one of our team will be in touch!
