Job Title Warehouse Assistant & Driver

Job Responsibilities

Unloading deliveries and stocking goodsProduct storage and labellingPicking and packing orders ready for shipmentMeeting despatch schedules and deadlinesReceiving, checking, recording, organising and storing stock as it is received.Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies warehouse managerEnsure non-conforming materials are reported to warehouse managerCheck each delivery for adherence to products ordered and qualityTaking inventories of stock and products, ensuring that they are safely and properly stored.Recording any damaged/missing/faulty goodsAdhere to the company's recycling policiesMaintain a clean and tidy department Opportunity to operate machinery Communication with couriers, obtaining CMR's and POC's etc, from the drivers.Working as part of a diverse teamOvertime opportunities are available General admin duties Dispatching and loading goods out of the warehouse for delivery Supporting the Warehouse team when needed Work with the Warehouse Manager and Logistics Manager to schedule and take part indelivery and collection of goods when neededAssist the Warehouse Manager with MOT checks on Company vansDesired Skills & Experience Forklift experience would be a bonus but not necessaryPrevious warehouse experience requiredPrevious experience driving for a CompanyHolder of a clean drivers licenseBe able to listen to instructions Be able to communicate with customers during deliveries Moving and handling of goodsDue to a very high number of applications, we are unable to come back to every candidate with feedback.
