Description
NXA are proud to be partnering with a national transport operator to find a Shift Manager on an initial 9 month contract with a strong chance of the position going permanent
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out day–to–day driver planning and management for a national trunking operation Ensure that all drivers are compliant with legalities including working time directives Drive operational performance of an experienced team of drivers Conduct performance reviews and work with drivers on Root Cause Analysis Drive key metrics such as fuel usage, service provision and productivity
Skills you will need:
Experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity within a logistics function A managerial CPC is an advantage A proactive attitude to problem solving
