Transport Planner
Salary: Up to 38,000 per annum
Shifts: 4am, 6am, and 11am (rolling 3–week rotation)
Holidays: 20 days + bank holidays
Are you a sharp and commercially minded Transport Planner looking for a fresh challenge? We're recruiting for a Portsmouth–based business that values efficient planning, teamwork, and keeping things running smoothly.

The Role
Plan and schedule HGV routes across the UK to ensure maximum vehicle efficiency.
Liaise with drivers, customers, and internal teams to maintain smooth operations.
React quickly to changing situations – breakdowns, delays, and last–minute bookings.
Maintain accurate records of routes, timings, and load allocations.
About You
Proven experience planning HGV vehicles within a UK haulage company.
Strong understanding of driver hours, WTD, and general transport regulations.
A natural problem solver who can balance cost, service, and compliance.
Experience with systems like Webfleet, Mandata, Fleetcheck.
