Description
Job Title: Transport Operator
Location: Eastleigh
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: 29,000 – 34,000 per annum + 2,600 annual bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am – 8:00pm
No weekends Bank holidays off
We are currently seeking an experienced Transport Operator to join our client's dynamic team in Eastleigh. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive individual with a background in transport or logistics operations to play a key role in the day–to–day running of a busy transport department.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborating with the PM team to ensure smooth daily operations
Managing and supporting drivers throughout their shifts
Handling queries from drivers and customers via phone, email, and messaging platforms
De–briefing day drivers upon return and dispatching night drivers in a timely manner
Liaising with the warehouse to ensure coordination between departments
Verifying all scanning documentation is present, accurate, and complete
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in a transport or logistics environment
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to multi–task and work under pressure in a fast–paced setting
Confident using transport systems, emails, and messaging services
A team player with a proactive approach to problem–solving
