Description

Role: Technical Warehouse Operative

Salary: GBP30,000

Location: Ashford, Middlesex

Hours: Full time Monday to Friday, 8am 5pm (45 hours per week, including a paid 1–hour lunch)

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Technical Warehouse Operative to join our client s expanding and highly reputable team.

Duties of a Technical Warehouse Operative:

Preparing demonstration equipment to required specifications, including visual checks, function tests, cleaning and wrapping

Updating systems and records with a high level of accuracy

Reporting defects or missing items and following escalation processes

Liaising with the coordination team to ensure smooth workflows

Supporting engineers and assisting with installations where required

Performing stock checks and working with auditors

Recording equipment test results and maintaining documentation

Creating Bills of Materials for new demo systems

Completing Pre–Delivery Checks and installing optional items

Arranging calibration for test equipment

Maintaining a tidy, organised workshop environment

Managing customer toolkits, including ordering consumables

Adhering to all Health & Safety requirements and ISO standards

Supporting other UK sites occasionally when needed

What we would like from you:

Previous engineering or technical warehouse experience is highly desirable

Strong communication skills and a positive, can–do attitude

Ability to work well in a team and confidently on your own initiative

Good basic IT skills (Word, Excel, internal systems)

Flexible mindset and willingness to support varying duties
