Supply Chain Administrator

Location: Hull

Salary: Circa 28,000 per annum

Job Type: Full–Time, Permanent

Are you an organised and detail–oriented administrator with experience supporting supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing operations?

We are recruiting on behalf of a well–established manufacturing business in Hull that is looking to strengthen its supply chain team with the addition of a proactive Supply Chain Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and fast–paced environment where you will play a key role in supporting inventory control, customer order management, and operational reporting.

The Role

As a Supply Chain Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of information across the supply chain function, supporting stock control, customer requirements, and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure stock availability and accuracy.Coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries with suppliers and transport providers.Process customer orders accurately and efficiently through the internal systems.Produce and distribute regular reports to support operational and commercial decision–making.Maintain accurate data within ERP and business management systems.Support compliance and quality processes, ensuring documentation is kept up to date.Liaise with internal departments including Production, Purchasing, Logistics, and Customer Service.Investigate and resolve stock, delivery, and order–related queries.Assist with continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function.

About You

We are looking for an organised and analytical individual who enjoys working with data, systems, and processes.

Requirements

Previous experience in a Supply Chain, Logistics, Planning, Purchasing, or Administration role.Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Experience using ERP, MRP, or business management systems.Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.Strong organisational and time–management skills.Ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively in a fast–paced environment.Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business.Experience within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
