Pay Rate: GBP28,000 – GBP28,650 5% Bonus

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 8:00am 4:30pm, 12:30pm finish on Friday)

This is a great opportunity for a Stores Operative to join a leading manufacturing environment on a permanent basis.

The role of Stores Operative will include:Receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming materials and componentsAccurately storing stock and maintaining effective stock control using FIFOPicking, kitting, packing, and issuing materials to support productionCarrying out inventory checks, cycle counts, and stock takesUsing ERP systems such as SYSPRO and Singlepoint to manage stock transactionsSupporting goods in, goods out, and internal material movementLiaising with production, engineering, and purchasing teams to resolve discrepanciesMaintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environmentThe Stores Operative should have the following experience:Experience working within a stores, logistics, or warehouse environmentStrong understanding of inventory and stock control processesExperience using ERP or MRP systemsGood attention to detail and organisational skillsConfident with picking, packing, and goods in/out dutiesStrong communication and teamwork skillsGCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)Stores Operative Benefits:Salary up to GBP28,650 5% bonusOvertime available at enhanced rates25 days holiday (with the option to buy additional days)Private medical insuranceProfit–related bonus (5%)Onsite canteen and cycle–to–work schemeFriendly team environment with clear progression opportunitiesIf you are interested in this Stores Operative position, please click apply now or call Jacob at Orion Reading today on (phone number removed).
