Description
Shipping Coordinator– Hampshire (office based)– salary from GBP30,000
Pod is collaborating with an international food trading and import organisation based in the UK who are looking to add a Shipping Coordinator to their team in Hampshire (5 days in the office).
You will manage the cross trade process of company orders, ensuring planned schedules are met, systems are updated accurately and required documentation is available and presented to relevant parties.
In this role,
You will:
Create documents for suppliers and buyers and update customers on shipment progressHandle and check all original documents for customs clearance & import purposesObtain rates & best routings and issue shipping instructionsCheck and authorise related 3rd party invoices About you:
2+ years experience in shipping/logisticsKnowledge of customs processesHighly organised with great attention to detailExcellent communication skills and ability to multitaskGreat Excel skills and problem solverWe will be prioritising candidates with short notice periods Interested?
