School Contracts Operating Manager

Description

ABC Travel is one of Berkshires largest School Contracts Transport operators operating for over two decades. We are seeking to recruit a competent professional individual who will be expected to successfully maintain our daily Transport Operations;

Manage the day-to-day transport operation and ensure services run safely, efficiently and on time.
Plan and coordinate bus/minibus routes, timetables and vehicle allocation.
Monitor delays, cancellations, breakdowns and operational disruptions.
Make contingency arrangements when vehicles or drivers are unavailable.
Ensure sufficient vehicles and drivers are available for daily operations, trips and special events.
Monitor service performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.

Home-to-School Transport | Safeguarding | Parent Communication | Pupil Transport | Minibus/Coach Operations | Sub contractors | Facilitate Vehicle allocations | Communicating with Suppliers effectively | Time Management.

This role is Monday to Friday, However you will retain Company phone for our of hour calls.
