Location: Rochester

Shifts: Monday – Friday, 6am starts

Pay Rate: 15.75 per hour

We are recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Specialist Driver on a temp to perm basis to join a leading logistics operation in Rochester. This role involves multi–drop deliveries and collections as part of a two–person crew, delivering and installing a variety of specialist products. Full training will be provided.

Our client is a third–party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.

Key Responsibilities

Complete multi–drop deliveries and collections between customer sites.Operate vehicles safely and in line with company and legal requirements.Use handheld scanners and complete delivery documentation accurately.Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance.Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and installations.Requirements

Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.Newly qualified drivers welcome if they show the right attitude and potentialNo more than six penalty points and no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements.Good knowledge of the UK road network.Physically fit and capable of handling heavy goods.Reliable, professional, and customer–focused with a positive attitude.Benefits
