Description
Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver
We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a busy chilled logistics operation based in Telford. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for steady, ongoing work with new vehicles, flexible shift options, and a strong focus on chilled deliveries.
Key Details:
Location: Telford Vehicle Type: Modern fleet single deck and moving deck trailers Shifts: Days and nights available Nights Out: Required (with appropriate allowances) Shift Patterns: Fixed and rotating patterns available Weekends: Work available
Role Responsibilities:
Delivering chilled goods to RDCs and customer sites across the UK Ensuring all loads are secured and temperature–controlled protocols are followed Completing necessary paperwork and adhering to all compliance standards Conducting vehicle checks and reporting any defects Working to tight schedules while maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism Self tipping required
Requirements:
Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence Valid CPC and Tacho card Minimum 6 months experience required Ability to commit to some nights out Willingness to complete a driving assessment and induction
