Responsibilities

Operate curtain–sided or fridge lorries and other commercial vehicles in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies. Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to legal driving hours. Secure cargo appropriately, ensuring safe transportation of goods. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting any maintenance issues promptly. Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery notes and logs. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery times and any unforeseen delays. Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with clients and colleagues during deliveries. Experience

Proven experience as a delivery driver or commercial driver Demonstrable knowledge of driving regulations and safety standards within the UK. Experience in handling flatbed loads, securing cargo, and managing logistics efficiently. Familiarity with route planning tools and GPS navigation systems. A valid UK driving licence suitable for commercial vehicles, with no serious endorsements or points on record.
