Job Title: FLT Counterbalance

Location: Swindon

Pay Rate: GBP14.86 per hour

Shift Pattern: 8pm–5am

Contract Type: Temp – Permanent

Start Date: ASAP

Please note: A valid (EXTERNAL) Counterbalance Licence is required for this position.

About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced and motivated FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a leading goods distribution company in Swindon on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key part of a growing team within a well–established organisation.

You will be working in a modern, fully equipped warehouse that includes excellent on–site facilities such as:

Canteen

Smoking area

Free car parking

Locker room

Key Responsibilities

Operate Counterbalance (D2) to load, unload, and move goods efficiently

Pick, pack, label, and store stock accurately

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment

Provide excellent service by ensuring orders are processed correctly and on time

Communicate effectively with team members and management

This position includes heavy lifting

Follow all health, safety, and company procedures

Requirements

Valid D2 Counterbalance Licence (essential)

Previous experience operating Reach Trucks in a warehouse setting

Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties

Strong attention to detail and accuracy with paperwork

Basic computer skills (for data entry and stock processing)

Good communication skills and a positive attitude

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
