Description
Overview
We are seeking a reliable and organised Dispatch & Logistics Person to handle daily outbound and inbound operations, manage delivery drivers, possibly provide driver cover in an emergency.
Key Responsibilities
Pack and prepare daily shipments. Manage daily driver routes. Oversee dispatch accuracy, schedules, and shipment quality. Raise purchase orders and book in incoming shipments. Handle returns and RMAs when the Procurement Manager is on holiday or unavailable. Provide general support across dispatch, logistics, and procurement during periods of absence or increased workload. Cover drivers if necessary completing deliveries and collections as required.
Requirements
Experience in logistics, dispatch, or warehouse operations. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Confident computer skills, Excel and Word proficient Good communication skills and a proactive attitude. Full UK driving licence (maybe required for driver cover). Benefits
