Salary: Up to 43,000 DOE

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00–17:00

Location: Stowmarket

We are recruiting for an established logistics and freight business that is looking for an experienced Container Operations Manager to take responsibility for its container operation.

The Role – Container Operations Manager

Run the day–to–day FCL / container operationManage container movements from collection through to deliveryPlan and coordinate vehicles, drivers and jobsLiaise with ports, depots, hauliers and customersDeal with any operational issues as they ariseMonitor costs and keep the operation running efficientlyUse TOPS to manage container movementsHelp improve processes and the way the operation runsTake responsibility for the overall performance of the FCL operationProvide support outside normal hours when required

What We're Looking For – Container Operations Manager

Previous experience in container haulageExperience managing or coordinating container movementsGood knowledge of TOPSConfident dealing with customers, hauliers, ports and depotsAble to take ownership and make decisionsOrganised and commercially mindedSomeone who can manage the operation independently

Additional Opportunity – Container Operations Manager

The business is open to discussing a profit share for someone who can bring existing customers or new business
