Class 1 Tramper

Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper drivers (C+E) Drivers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating an HGV Class 1 (C+E) Truck to deliver efficiently and safely across designated routes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in driving HGV Class 1 vehicles. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and a commitment to safety.

Duties

Safely operate an HGV Class 1 curtain sided truck in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies Mixture of single drops or multi drops which are timmed and untimmed delivereis to various sites, ensuring timely and accurate drop–offs Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure operational safety. Follow all health and safety protocols, including adherence to driving hours regulations. Trailers will need to be destripped and put back National Coverage Qualifications

Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving license with a clean driving record Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members Knowledge of health and safety standards Ability to work independently, demonstrating organisational skills and reliability No more than 6 points No DD, DR & IN10 Endorsements showing Mon to Fri with starts varies

PAYE Pay rates:

GBP18ph Days basic / overtime GBP27.00 – Holidays accrued –

GBP20.17ph basic / overtime GBP30.25 Holidays included
