Description
WS Specialist Logistics is recruiting an experienced HGV driver to join our Powered Access Transport Division. This is a stable, full-time role transporting high-value powered access equipment using low loaders.
We are looking for a professional driver with proven low-loader or plant transport experience who takes pride in safe working practices and high standards of customer service. IPAF qualification is desirable, but full training is available.
The position mainly involves Class 2 driving duties, although a Class 1 licence is desirable to allow flexibility for work in other areas when needed.
Key Responsibilities
Safely load and unload powered access machinery
Secure loads correctly for transport
Deliver and collect equipment from customer sites
Provide clear handover and basic operational guidance where required
Complete daily vehicle checks and all relevant paperwork
Maintain full compliance with road safety and company procedures
Requirements
Valid Class 1 HGV licence
Driver CPC
Proven low-loader experience (essential)
IPAF licence desirable (training available)
Experience in plant transport, access equipment, or vehicle recovery preferred
Good customer service and a safety-focused approach
