Class 1 Personnel are recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV Driver on behalf of a national parcel delivery company based in the Chelmsford area.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for ongoing trunking work with flexible shift patterns, competitive pay rates, and minimal manual handling.

Following a successful driving assessment, drivers will be responsible for transporting parcels and mail between distribution centres nationwide.

Class 1 trunking work between depots and distribution centresMinimal manual handlingAverage shift length: 9–10 hoursShifts planned and offered 1 week in advanceEarly morning, day, and night shifts availableGuaranteed minimum of 7.25 hours per shiftOngoing temporary workPay Rates

From 20.53 per hour to 24.40 per hour depending on times worked.Requirements

Valid Class 1 HGV Driver (C+E) licenceMinimum 1 year Class 1 driving experienceMinimum 180 driving days completed within the last 12 monthsMaximum 3 penalty pointsValid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph CardAssessment & Vetting
