Location: Eastleigh

Hours: Hybrid Working Monday to Friday 8:30am – 17:00pm

Salary: Up to 36,000

The Role

As an Air Export Operator, you'll take ownership of shipments from initial booking through to final delivery, ensuring everything runs smoothly and customers receive an exceptional level of service.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing the end–to–end process for air export shipmentsArranging bookings with airlines, agents and freight partnersPreparing and checking export documentationCoordinating collections, deliveries and onward transportationLiaising with customers, airlines, overseas agents and other stakeholdersTracking shipments and proactively managing any delays or issuesPreparing Air Waybills and relevant shipping documentationCoordinating export customs clearance and ensuring complianceMaintaining accurate shipment records and updating internal systemsProviding customers with regular updates throughout the shipment processWorking closely with colleagues across the wider operations team to ensure a seamless service

About You

We're looking for an experienced Air Export Operator who understands the importance of accuracy, communication and customer service.

You'll ideally have:

Previous experience within air freight/export operationsStrong knowledge of the air export process from booking through to deliveryExperience with export documentation and customs proceduresExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsStrong customer service and communication abilitiesThe ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneouslyA proactive approach to problem–solvingThe ability to work effectively within an established teamWR Logistics are a leading recruitment partner for the logistics and supply chain industry, recruiting across the UK, Europe, and the USA for permanent opportunities.
