Hove, East Sussex
£40
Description
Add a bold splash of vintage charm to your space with this striking mid-century modern desk lamp. Featuring a bright red shade and base with a flexible chrome gooseneck arm, this lamp perfectly blends retro industrial styling with practical function.
Likely dating from the 1960s-70s, this piece is reminiscent of classic European design, with a weighted base for stability and an eye-catching silhouette. Ideal for home offices, creative spaces, or anyone looking to inject a bit of character into their decor.
Takes a screw bulb (I will include the one already in the lamp for you).
Dimensions approx:
1.3m cord length from back of lamp to plug
12 cm diameter base
13cm lamp head diameter
Height; depends on how you position the lamp.
Condition; this item is in a vintage condition with scratches and blemishes associated with its ages. Fully working.
Note; the lamp head cannot be positioned too close down towards the surface it is sat on without toppling over, due to the weight of the lamp head. As you can see from the photo of the underneath of the lamp base this could be rectified by securing the lamp base to the surface it’s sat on using the thread inbuilt.
The reason for this is due to the origins of this lamp most likely being in educational or military environments where things such as lamps were fixed to their tables.
In the photos taken here, the lamp sits optimally without having to secure to anything.
Collection preferred from Seven Dials area. Delivery possible but only within Brighton & Hove area
