Hello, I’m Rachel – a dedicated Mindset Coach who uses evidence-based CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) techniques as a core part of my work, alongside Control Hypnosis and NLP. I specialise in supporting clients with anxiety, low self-esteem, limiting beliefs, phobias, addictions, and challenges related to past experiences – with a focus on practical, forward-looking change.

How I use CBT in coaching:

• Thought identification & reframing: We’ll work together to spot unhelpful thought patterns (like assuming the worst will happen, or seeing things as only “good” or “bad”) and replace them with balanced, realistic ways of thinking that help you reach your goals.

• Behavioural experiments: I’ll help you try out new ways of acting in tricky situations, so you can build confidence and stop getting stuck in old habits.

• Goal-setting & structure: CBT gives us a clear plan to define what you want to achieve, break it down into small steps, and track how you’re doing – so our work always stays focused on what matters to you.

• Emotion regulation tools: You’ll learn simple strategies to manage difficult feelings (like worry or frustration) in the moment, instead of letting them take over.

How CBT works hand-in-hand with my other approaches:
Think of it like building a strong house:

• CBT is the visible framework and tools – it gives you clear, practical skills you can use every day to change how you think and act. It helps you consciously understand what’s holding you back and take control.

• Control Hypnosis is like working on the foundations – it targets the deeper, automatic beliefs and responses you might not even be aware of (the ones that can make old patterns feel hard to break). It helps these new ways of thinking feel natural and lasting.

• NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) is how we make the space feel right – it looks at how the words you use and the pictures you imagine in your head affect how you feel. It helps you communicate better with yourself and others, so change feels smoother.

Together, they create a complete approach that addresses both what you can see and what’s happening below the surface.

Rachel contacted me through Bark, had a consultation where we spoke about my issues with anxiety, went ahead and had the 3 sessions, it has helped me massively, have learned many new tools to help deal with my anxiety, Rachel was so friendly, understanding and helpful, highly recommend

Rachel has helped me with so much, in so many elements of my life. I am stronger, more confident and love myself again. My spider phobia was excessively bad I couldn’t be near even small ones. Rachel’s hypnotherapy has worked wonders for me and my ‘crew’ ☺️.  After my recent life coach sessions, I have the tools and knowledge to not only love myself again but learn how to receive love again. I can't recommend Rachel enough! Her guidance has been truly transformative. Through her support, I've learned how to reframe my thoughts, and it's made a massive difference in how I feel. I used to be overwhelmed with anxiety and constant overthinking, which took a serious toll on my sleep. Now, I'm sleeping soundly and no longer battling anxiety. I went to see Rachel with a variety of different anxieties hoping that she may be of some help. I had an initial consultation to see if we were able to work together and achieve my goals and help me with my worries. In the first session I was at a point of complete defeat to my anxiety, that has stopped me seeing friends, going on holiday and just in general ruining normal every day activities. Today was my third session where I left Rachel’s office with a total different outlook on life, she has guided me with empathy through my negative thoughts and coached me how to think more positively with my mind so that my anxieties now do not consume me. I feel like a whole new person so her company name is very fitting!! I really can not recommend Rachel enough and looking forward to my future of freedom!!!

After discussing my areas of need with Rachel, we began to plan for an initial consultation. I was looking forward to the opportunity to talk through my issues and emotions. However, despite my multiple follow-up emails to schedule the consultation, I did not receive any response. This lack of communication has been disheartening, especially considering my current mental struggles. To this day, I have not heard back from Rachel.
