Out of Hours Business Travel Consultant duties:

* Arrange an array of travel services for corporate clients including flights, hotels, lounges, car hire, etc.

* Assist clients with travel bookings, and to process this in an efficient and competent manner.

* Offering an out of hours service to clients.

* Re-issue and perform re-calculations of international and domestic airfares.

* Sourcing the best and most cost-effective worldwide routes booking all flights, rail, hotel, and all ground product.

* Providing additional Quality Control to day team processes when call volumes permit.

* Provide ‘risk analysis’ of global travel news.

* Communicate with customers, whether this is by telephone, email or in person, in a professional and friendly manner

* Provide an excellent service via communications with customers and the accuracy of bookings

* Providing clients with suitable travel options and suggestions for the best way to meet their requirements

* Proactively maintaining relationships with clients at all times

OOH Business Travel Consultant – Essential requirements:

* Previous experience as a Business Travel Consultant is essential.

* A good working knowledge of GDS / CRS flight system such as Galileo, Amadeus or Sabre.

* Excellent fares knowledge, Cat35 and Route Deals

* Excellent ticketing experience.

* Fares & Ticketing Level 1 & 2 (or equivalent experience) essential

* Knowledge of Microsoft products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel

* Possess good geographical and product knowledge of destinations and airlines
