Description
Our client, a leading sports equipment manufacturer, is seeking a meticulous and enthusiastic Assembly Technician to join their Custom Fit Workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for golf and technical precision to play a key role in producing high-quality, custom-built golf clubs for customers across the UK and Europe.
The successful candidate will contribute to the success of the workshop by assembling clubs to the highest possible standard and ensuring all customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities
Assemble and craft custom golf clubs to precise specifications, ensuring accuracy in shaft length, swing weighting, grip sizing, loft and lie adjustments, and overall finish quality.
Inspect and quality-check completed clubs to ensure they meet both internal and customer specifications.
Meet daily and weekly build targets while maintaining exceptional quality and consistency.
Disassemble clubs when required, preserving the integrity of all components.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace in accordance with company health and safety procedures.
Report any specification discrepancies or component issues promptly to the Workshop Manager or Team Leader.
Monitor and help maintain stock levels of workshop consumables such as adhesives, ferrules, and grip tape.
Collaborate closely with internal departments, including Warehouse and Customer Service, to ensure timely order fulfilment.
Support other workshop areas during peak times, including repairs and component preparation.
Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements
Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical specifications precisely.
Experience in golf club assembly, workshop, or precision manufacturing environment.
Good mathematical ability with strong understanding of imperial and metric measurements.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team approach.
Flexible and adaptable attitude with willingness to support other departments.
Passion for golf and a genuine interest in helping customers achieve the best possible equipment performance.
(Desirable) Membership of the Golf Clubmakers Association (GCA) or similar certification.
