Portable Infra-red Lamp by Philips

Philips 'Ultraphil Special', an easy-to-carry* infra-red (and at one-time UV*) lamp. *UV function does not work - probably a replacement quartz lamp (bulb) - which sits in front of a high-efficiency reflector - is needed. (If you do procure a replacement bulb, timing instructions for UV usage are on the back of the unit.)
But opting for IR via the switch on the side of the unit, you have the use of an infra-red lamp. (See photo of this function operating.) The infra red of the lamp - two vertical filament tubes - is powerful at 325W.

A tape pulls out from the front, lower corner of the unit measuring minimum, safe distance at which to position oneself when using the lamp.
It comes with a pair of small, red goggles, which need new, fine elastic threading through them.

* The orange body of the lamp without stand is 21 cm square and 9 cm deep. The whole thing weighs a little over a kilo.

Adjustable stand allows angle of lamp to be adjusted. This stand folds flat against the square body of the lamp and becomes a carry handle.
