Description: Built by Moto Laverda in Breganze, Italy the Laverda 3C was one of the real muscle bikes of the 1970s,Powered by a 981cc air-cooled DOHC inline-three, with three Dell'Orto carburettors, a five-speed gearbox and a chain final drive. Its crankshaft uses an unusual 'flat' 180° layout, with the two outer pistons moving together while the centre piston moves in the opposite direction giving the engine its distinctive mechanical feel and sound,Originally purchased by our vendor from renowned Italian bike specialists, Made in Italy, in 2017, the bike presents very well indeed and is a well sorted, lovely sounding machine that starts on the button,It has benefitted from an engine overhaul, new clutch and primary chain by Laverda guru, Ged Shorten.
