Stepping into the room with genuine 2009 energy, this Compaq Presario CQ60 is a proper nostalgia trip running genuine Windows 7 Home Premium. It won't stream 4K video or run modern software, but if you need a budget retro machine, a DVD player, or something basic for offline typing and retro tinkering, it’s ready for a new home.
It has two distinct "quirks" (honesty is our policy!):
CMOS Battery is Exhausted: When turned on from cold, you need to press F1 to bypass the setup screen. Once booted and connected to the internet, Windows automatically updates the clock to the correct time.
Wi-Fi Power Toggle: The built-in Wi-Fi switch defaults to off at startup. Simply tap the light-up button above the keyboard (it turns from orange to blue) and you're connected.
