We are seeking an exceptional individual who has proven experience to join our team as Grounds/Maintenance Manager to supervise, co-ordinate and work hands on with our small team in maintaining our outside spaces, park infrastructure and various holiday properties. Working closely with the Park Manager this role is diverse and highly varied and requires commitment and a strong background in grounds work, all types of repairs ( including plumbing and basic electrics ), a working knowledge of various tools and machinery ( including ride on mowers, ) along with previous supervisory experience.
Other aspects to the role include monitoring of the private water supply systems, septic tanks, hot tub cleaning processes and basic maintenance of hot tubs. We have a marina on site so experience with boats/ outboard engines is an advantage but not essential as is experience with tractor driving and chemical spraying.
The ideal applicant will possess excellent organisational skills, be physically fit, able to multi task and prioritise jobs ,great customer service skills as you will be dealing with the general public at times, mature approach when managing team, able to delegate effectively and have a flexible and proactive approach to maintenance and project management.
Hours
Hours are 40 per week - 5 days - 8.30am to 5pm.
May include some weekend work and overtime/on call.
Duties
Supervise and lead the grounds maintenance team in daily operations Plan and execute landscape maintenance programmes, including mowing, strimming, weeding Operate and maintain grounds equipment safely and efficiently Conduct routine inspections to identify areas requiring attention or repair Coordinate with Park Manager and visiting contractors Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and on site materials needed for maintenance tasks Develop schedules for regular maintenance activities to optimise grounds appearance and safety
Requirements
Proven experience in landscape maintenance, repairs and team supervision Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage different projects simultaneously Hands-on experience with construction activities related to grounds development or renovation Ability to operate grounds machinery Knowledge of health and safety standards applicable to outdoor maintenance work Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to supervise a team effectively A proactive attitude with problem-solving skills and attention to detail Self motivated Pro active

We are an established holiday park located on the shores of Loch Tay, 3 miles from Killin and just over an hour from 1 hour from Perth or Stirling right on the shores of Loch Tay. We have a variety of holiday accommodation and extensive grounds with a combination of manicured and wild areas.
